Non-linear calligraphy

Can you just grab a pen, start anywhere on the page, and create a good piece of calligraphy? Can you skip the planning, build contrasts, and invent the words as you go? Using the Calligrammes of Apollinaire and other sources of inspiration, we will work spontaneously to create fascinating non-linear calligraphy that is dynamic, rich in contrast and full of surprises. We will mix styles, change pens, and stretch letters into new shapes. You will be amazed to see a unique composition take shape before your eyes!
